Open Data Movement
As a data-driven organization, our solutions support and join the Open Data Movement. This is also what led us to be involved with FIWARE (www.fiware.org) from its early days.
An increasing number of municipalities and (local) governments are dealing with new obligations and requirements to measure water quality and temperature. When designing new data solutions, it is timely to approach the question also from an open data perspective: to allow information gathered by WaterQ sensors to be shown as national open data - available to all.
The Open Data Movement: We invite you to join our journey. Together we can build possibilities based on open standards, giving you the ability to simply share insights between departments, towards innovative companies and with citizens.
Temperature
In practice, many local governments are interested to offer real time water temperature measurements in open water within their boundaries. WaterQ can help.
Pollution
WaterQ also measures the water quality. It detects pollution and can help track possible sources of the contamination.
Data Insights
Collected data presents insight through the WaterQ Dashboard. It provides some primary data analyses, simplifies information management and allows exchange of data.
